You are our client, but we prefer the term partner. We want to work with you to help you achieve your goals. Eventually the word partner won't be good enough - We'll be friends. That's just how we do business!!
Big Dog Productions
Our staff consists of Emmy-award winning producers, reporters, hosts, editors, and videographers.
Our people are the best at what they do. They excel at their craft. We use the latest technology to produce the best programming possible, but it's not all about technology. In this day and age, lots of people know how to point and shoot a camera or smart phone. Quality television production requires experience, talent, creativity, and expertise.
Roger Manis is the President of Big Dog Productions, a programming and production company specializing in sports, news, business videos, and branded marketing content.
As President, he has managed projects around the corner and around the world.
At the Vancouver Olympics in 2010, he managed the Olympic News Channel. With a staff of about 90, the O.N.C. produced and fed highlights, interviews, and feature stories around the world to rights-holding broadcasters 24 hours a day.
It boils down to using the best people who know what they are doing to help create your video production. The staff of Big Dog Productions has the necessary talent and skill to help you produce the quality content you need!
In 2008, Manis and the Big Dog Productions team journeyed to the Persian Gulf region as part of the Coaches Tour of the Mideast. That's him on the right with Georgia Bulldog head coach Mark Richt in a helicopter flying over the Gulf.
He's been nominated for 17 Emmy awards and won four in the N.A.T.A.S Southeast chapter. Manis has also won two Telly Awards for his work with Olympic Wrestling and the Georgia Tech golf team. He once served as Director of Television for Career Sports Management (now CSE), a sports marketing agency which represents athletes, coaches, and corporations in all matters where sports and business intersect.
For Manis and his Big Dog Productions team, no project is too large or too small. The skill set necessary for the Olympics can also be used next door. We are here to help you execute your project and grow your brand.
Manis has covered everything from high school football to NASCAR. For 13 years, as the Executive Producer of Sports at WXIA-TV in Atlanta, he was responsible for all sports programming, including daily newscasts and live and special events. As the official Atlanta Falcons station, he managed all Falcons' programming: pre-season, pre-game, post-game, and a weekly talk show in front of a live audience.
